Starting this week, we introduce a new feature to the Dark Circle journal sharing with you the music we have been listening to day in day out.
Focusing not only on brand new music from artists both big and small and from all walks of life and genres, but music of the past that is at the heart of the brand, this is Dark Circle Sounds.
To kick things off we have the new music video from the man ScHoolboy Q for his track Overtime. Taken from his latest album 'Blank Face LP', the song features singers Miguel and Justine Skye. The video is a dreamy, colourful, twerking masterpiece to match the equally great song. No doubts this song will become a firm favourite off the album, coming a close second to Kanye's feature song, THat Part. Enjoy the visuals below.
Secondly we have grime artist Jevon who is part of the Dark Circle family. Over the last year Jevon has been making big moves in the grime scene, from featuring in the MOBO Awards list of artists to watch this year, to appearing at the Rated Awards. No end of talent from this guy, listen to his freestyle 'Off My Chest' with GRM Daily right now.
To finish our first new feature we end with some classic Jazz from the legend Miles Davis. His song 'So What' was released in 1959 and soon became one of his most popular compositions. Sit back and enjoy this truly great piece from Miles.
